Meant SS12 & SS13... massive gap tomorrow.

Most of this year Hyundai has been noticeably faster than Ford on slow and twisty stages.

Quite interesting quote from Dani and Mikkelsen
https://www.facebook.com/RallyItalia...5359264895988/
As a translation of Andreas words: "Yes, I have a seat in factory Citroen, but now I must think twice, if I need that" :)
He's saying:
"The car is setup for a bad/slow driving style, have to change it".
Also he looks genuinely suprised when they ask about the balance under braking (like a small boy caught doing something). Probably didn't notice the replay with that part got out. Admits that they "have to work on that".
In a way that's what Ogier did with Ford, complained it didn't suit him (Tanak is more about throwing car sideways into corners) and after going into the dead-end in Argentina where it just didn't turn at low speed (see powerstage replay from there), they changed the diff for him for Portugal and he was back on top.
were we go.
"I feel annoying, but it's the usual feeling after opening days." "What kind of days are so long?" "What Neuville did today is not bad. I'm sure he was a little quicker than me when I started second but it makes a difference compared to the first place, he certainly rolls faster than me on the whole day. That about twenty are due to our positions ", slipped the world champion title to Olivier Gaspard, special envoy of the RTBF in Sardinia.
And to conclude, in a tone that sticks to his annoyance: "What I hope for tomorrow, that the weekend ends and that we go home." My speech is the same as last year, It's not the vision I have of the sport, it's not my vision, but it's like that ... Make a settlement for the losers, it's never been my vision ... "

Mikkelsen is a smart boy. Possible Lefebvre settings do not match Andrea's driving style. Some adjustments will certainly be made during the night.
What the f*ck? What Lefebvre settings?
Who is the new commentator on the rally highlights ? At least they"re not Desborough ! ;)
So Red Bull showing the same live stage tomorrow as the TV... no 'extra' stage to watch on Saturday. :(
Sorry so much to you who are from the UK and someone else. It's no good that their favorites run out the first day. I hope somebody learns the exercises and takes adjustments as they come. It can be done overnight.
He's done various things, was with WTCC/Eurosport for a long time, but has been doing TCR (touring cars) more recently. He does production stuff too, he's previously worked on the Dakar coverage.
Trivia for those who don't know, he is the son of Bob Constanduros, the F1 podium announcer and former "Chaaammmmppppaaaaggnnnnne" caller.
Is the the corner Meeke went off on? That a flat right from a slow left. A nothing corner. He is following clean lines. Too many off Meeke mistakes look the same. Citroen have a rear torque bias homolgated, every other team 50/50. Im starting to feel sorry for him. In many ways Mikkelson pace is proving this car is not easy to drive. Maybe Meeke is making it look better than it is. Why would Mikkelson want to continue to drive this car.. it could damage his reputation.

#Tyre Info - Day 2 morning:
Mikkelsen/Sordo: 5 Michelin LTX Force S5
Breen/Paddon/Ogier/Toyota: 2H+3S
Ostberg/Neuville/Tanak: 3H+2S #WRC
Dust a really really bad priblem for Mikkelsen..
Looking at the Highlights I have to say Breen's issue is also a little bit his fault.
The stone was not in the middle of the road, but rather on the outside and most drivers cut the corner. Yes he was following lines of other drivers but since the stone is clearly visible also on Ogier's onboard it must have also been visible in the recce.
Anyway questions for today:
- How much faster will Ogier get?
- Are Paddon and Østberg able to stay near top?
- Will Lappi and Hanninen keep the pace without that much road position advantage?
- Will Mikkelsen drive faster (even with worse road position)?
...the last question is already answered after 2 split times....NO Mikkelsen is significant slower than Sordo despite Sordo is cleaning the road....so it seams this Citroen Car is really a piece of s..t and poor Meeke has to overdrive it all the time to be somewhere near the top....:(
Looks like we have 2 minute gaps now, terrible decision
what the hell, huge dust problems, mikkelsen said he nearly stopped at some points
Really, do make conclusions without even the second car on the road getting to finish. How about just a LITTLE patience.
idiocy at his best
Tanak first who have green split! Hah, Sordo done well!
