Looks like stage 3 was also disaster for Fiesta's R2, all of them loosing considerable amount of time. Cracco Jr now suddenly 2th in R2 with his Pug 208, only two places behind his father with S2000 Pug.

That is you call 'a Lappi lap'.Quote:

So that is the reason why all Fiesta's R2 were loosing so much time, will they get notional time? I suppose they will, if not they are in very bad situation.Quote:

Apologies to Lappi fans and those with a passion for the 'correct' - My memory played me false (early dementia is my excuse). Esapekka was clearly a victim of Solberg-Latvala syndrome on the Monte (a condition where inanimate objects throw themselves in the path of a car's suspension / wheels without any fault on the part of the driver, thereby leading to an outbreak of the 'Would'ves' among their fans).Quote:

Fiesta WRC at 130 km/h must have something around 5000-5500 rpm on 6th gear which is much more than my stock car. Be aware that driving on 6th gear doesn't mean to drive super-fast. The rally/racing gearboxes are much shorter than stock ones because those are built for sound comfort, fuel consumption and reliability. I can imagine he is running even slower in the photo.Quote:

Eh, this Year will be really tough for Ford. :( Three master's of crash.......
Shame for PG. :(
My hope's for Sordo good result.

Yes, strange... Never saw that before.
Lemes lost another full minute on ss3 with no logic if you look at his times on ss2 and 4.
Aasen is doing good.
I think Mads has felt the pressure from the very beginning this year. A bit the same as for JML during the past years. Hope this doesn´t mean Mads will continue crashing, because it hasn´t been his style when driving the Adapta Fiesta.
Looking at his test video it´s very fast handling on test before Portugal and that speed doesn´t work through a whole rally of Portugal´s caliber. Sooner or later you´d crash.
Hopefully Lemes will appeal that overnight as it virtually rules out his chance of a podium (but could make for some very interesting driving tomorrow!)Quote:
