puncture for PG, stopped to change it
Sandell :D
Sandell is FAST..
And Eivind :o Wooow
What about Brynhildsens time then... :D
I guess faith did'nt want PG to win this rally... But anyway way to go Mads, really impressive driving!
BTW i dont like the fact that it seems to be possible for a S2000 car to win a wrc event. Sandell is 6th on one of the fastest rallys on the calendar, imagine how it could turn out on the rallies where speed is not so important. But maybe this is just the start and the 1,6 T cars will be developed into better cars that S2000 cars cant beat.
The S2000 are on fire!!!!
Heh, Brynildsen even faster. The road conditions must change a lot with more and more cars through.
Incredible with Mads, I assumed he would do good, but this is just insane!
I like it, even if it f*cs up my Pickems - can't really understand why I didn't check the weather before posting them :)
IF ONLY Ketomaa would have been there with S2000 machinery !!!!
Four norweigans in the top six on this stage. Suits the stage well when it actually goes through norway. :)
In my opinion it's just about road conditions. This can't repeat often. Do You remember how McShea with slow Proton drove in Ireland or when someone with gr.N car won icy stage in Monte Carlo in 1990'? Or this year when R1 car was 10th in stage on Monte? Normally it can't happen but sometimes the conditions make it better for late cars ;)Quote:

Same opinion!Quote:

Well, interesting morning. Luckily all the new cars are still in the race :-) Clean sweep of stage wins for Ford so far in 2011. Räikkönen faster than Loeb :-P I like when everything is not usual :-)
I just saw the results thus far and I'm stunned. Never would've predicted a shakeup like this. Hopefully running order won't affect Loeb much more and he will claw his way back.
The boost problems on the Fords will be scrutinised with a fine tooth comb over the service break for the Factory drivers to see if they show signs of it too, plus Matt's power steering issue. Mass test session with the wealth of Fiesta's on stage.
This means he is going again for crashking, just as he did in 2010.Quote:

Will be interesting to see what 'games' will be played this afternoon in regards to start positions tomorrow. It is obvious that the first driver is being heavily penalised, especially with the extreme conditions.
That's not going to be such a big issue tomorrow or Sunday as it is not going to snow anymore during the rest of the weekend if forecasts are to be believed.Quote:

what is the difference in price between a s2000 and a joke-WRC car ??
Rally Sweden creating a lot of intrest, wrc.com is having difficulties keeping it steady, every single page loads for ages. Not sure if it's something else, but this forum too seems to have difficulties staying steady.
Very interesting Friday morning, hope it continues like the same. :)
Not sure what it is tbh, I've been monitoring the server and we're well within CPU / bandwidth / memory limits.Quote:

With the weather being different and not having the regular amounts of ice on the road surface, it may not be as predictable as previous years.Quote:

Are there reasons for Loeb and Block being further down the order than I'd expect? Or is it just them struggling to get pace out of the new car?
Loeb is sweeping new snow.
I must say that I'm very disappointed with the performance of the new WRC cars this far. Allthough it's nice to see that there is good competition going on, there should be no way for S2000 cars to get top three in stage times. No matter conditions. Why the new cars had to be made such a powerless piece of junk?
Tell me that is N O T truth!!!!Quote:

Conditions take a big role on it, I think
I've chosen only normal long stages in purpose ;)
Well, no. Did not remember those. But I really don't care, because I think that this is going to more stable situation from now, than those onetimers.Quote:
