Actually i did'nt even know that. So Flodin has been driving for points in one more round than Araujo? Is so i suppose that there is nothing to blame it on! =)Quote:

I vividly remember all the forumers calling Petter a has-been, too old, have lost it etc.
And with Mikkelsen wiping the floor with all the rest in Swrc, it was a pretty good weekend for us.
I also might end up on the podium in Pickems, then it will be even better :)
Had a great rally weekend - weather on Saturday was amazing for a November in Wales. Went to Halfway and Crychan on Saturday and Resolfen on Sunday. Very good atmosphere around the stages and service park. Petter and Loeb were noticeably quicker throughout - there was an audible gasp when they came past the huts at Dixies! Very good weekend topped off by a 2nd place for Petter and a win for Andreas.
Here are some lame attempts at photos from my new camera - unfortunately not set-up for motorsport photography!

2. P. Solberg - 71
3. J.M. Latvala - 69
4. S. Ogier - 68
5. D. Sordo - 63
6. M. Hirvonen - 51
Could've been bronze if Paddon's car hadn't let him down so often. Got a lot to answer for that word ... if !Quote:

Very mature behaviour from you, personal insults just really shows your class. One really sad case you are... :down:Quote:

Wasn't easy keeping track of who was leading, 87.7RallyFM was quite good, but it was a bit hit and miss, they really need to sort the transmitter out.
And that leads me to my final point - media coverage!!! Where was it? Virtually nothing in the papers, nothing on national radio. This is our round of the WRC. Is everybody in the sport doing enough to promote it? Pay, invite, whatever, members of the press to come to the event - they won't turn up on their own back. Where are the future fans of the sport coming from if there is no coverage?
It's sad, and it's happened so quickly - it's not just the lack of a top-line British driver - there's a whole host of reasons. However, I expect to hear it was a roaring success, maybe in £££££, but was it really?

Calm it P, armchair statisticians will always miss the prima facie evidence. I saw him last year in Catalonia wringing the neck of the Fiesta R2 and thought he'd be one to watch. At his age to be winning Nationals is credit worthy, to finish 12th on a WRC given his lack of forest miles is brilliant. If people are going to sneer at family assistance they should look at Mikkelsen who, I understand, has exhausted his pot of gold but has delivered just in time. Andreas is 2-3 years further down the road than Craig so the time to judge will be 2011 at the end of the J-WRC. I got blasted by the Arctic contingent on here when I said CB would be competition for Ketomaa - well 2nd behind Mikkkelson says it all in my book. You don't get to be a champ by going balls-out without understanding the strategy required for a series. In head to head events Pons has as good a record as Ketomaa, maybe the Finn should have realised he needed to be competing with Pons on all 7 nominated events. Pons 7 scores out of 7 events, Ketomaa 5 scores out of 7 events = Pons fast enough, Ketomaa too fast. Congrats Xevi, you're in the records now.Quote:

Nice to see that although you don't have time to post 24/7 you still have time to post personal insults :up:Quote:

it starts to annoy me at time's that people here are not been sincere there either trying to stir people up or just been plain nasty.is the day gone where we can have an honest debate on things without scarism and nasty stuff intervening,
Please let's quit personal comments/insults thank you !
Ketomaa actually took 20 seconds away from Mikkelsen's lead before his off. (and during saturday he was faster than Mikkelsen). After Ketomaa got his things together he was blindingly fast as he usually is. Mikkelsen said that his pace was crazy as he was defending against Ketomaa.Quote:

It would have been nice if Petter had win Wales or Japan (especially Japan was unfortunate as he lost probable win due to technical issue). However it was extremely nice to see Petter driving same pace with Loeb and Ogier in last three events. Can someone copy comments from last rally of Great Britain where NOT is insulting Petter as being helplessly too slow for new stars like Hirvonen and Sordo? ;-)
Thanks for your post Pino
Maybe they are too modest. On the other hand one or two Finns normally go to ground after a good weekend for Norwegian drivers ;)Quote:

Great photos..
I see, Ford's #1 testing car, the legendary EU07 SUX got to real action in the last 2.0 litre WRC rally in the hands of Ken Block. Before this, it had only completed one WRC rally, 2010 Rally Portugal with Block.
I admire your passion for the Focus :)

Is it possible to see national results somewhere?

And that was - of course - because Block smashed his car prior to the event. M-Sport had to prepare also Henning's car from what was left of it after Turan's Catalunya accident. Well, they've got used to hammering, just to mention that JML's GB car was the same he used to win in Finland and the very same he rolled down the mountain in Portugal 2009.Quote:

MartijnS, as I scrolled down I thought your pic of Sordo was the best I had seen yet from this event, then you topped it with the one of Sandell, great work, and thanks for sharing them
