Have fun donks :p :
cheers ody :D
I´m not a flaggy person but with Ireland not qualified, England out, and the fact I´ll be out of the country for the hypothetical Germany-Spain... I think I just might have to drape my donkey wagon in the Rojigualda at work tomorrow :D :D

Regarding England - they have had various coaches over the years, but the results are barely dissimilar. I suppose the problems are clearly deeper. They may change the coach again, but would it create a feeling that they are going to succeed next time around? Definitely not.
Anyway, I have to say I have been impressed with the South American squads so far. All have been in form and as one of them just had to drop out due to positioning in the play-off rounds, still four out of five have made it into the quarterfinals.
I'm hoping for a Ger-Esp final, but with the difference of Germans winning compared to Euro'08. :D
semi-final, with the difference of Spain winning by 2-0 instead of 1-0 :p
I just realised half the quarterfinalists speak donkey
si señor!!!Quote:

I think Spain have a great chance of reaching the final, but Brazil are looking pretty invincible at the minute.
+ one Spain played a brilliant game against Portugal!Quote:

I was not impressed by Spain, so far they haven't played at the same level as they did in the Europe Cup, but I still think they will be Champions.
Villa, Villa , Maravilla!
And 3 out of 4 semifinalists could be donkey-hablantes  :)Quote:

Perhaps UK football needs more international practice. And a tournament every 2 years doesn't do that.
Perhaps there should be a "5 Nations" i.e. England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland; tournament every 2 years, i.e. years when there is no World Cup or European Championship to make sure that the national teams take part in an important competition at least once a year.
Not to mention it would give all the home nation teams the chance to play if they don't qualify for the other tournaments.
Seems I'm not the only one to have that idea, in fact it's going ahead, just without England! (quelle surprise!)Quote:

England might be a slight favourite for once. ;)
Finally a small break in the games, I was getting tired of watching footy all night long.
If we formed an Anglo/American Team we'd be in with a shout! :uhoh: :p :Quote:

The thing is that he can manage a team, unlike many others (no need to mention names ;) :p : )
I've put a request in to Koz to see if it is ok to turn his Chat room into a Mexican Donkey Show ;) (I don't think he can stop us)
And I am asking the administration if they can make this into a sticky! (Which I know Pino will be overjoyed to do) :p
July the third Spain vs Uruguay I'll be serving "Pulpo ala Plancha"!
Bring your own olives, Sangria, and your women!
