I've been poking around the route map KML files on the WRC website and had a go at generating some some route stats based on them at https://rallydatajunkie.com/croatia_2021_route/.

Comments welcome. The reviews include a simple speed prediction model inspired by the To See the Invisible pacenotes system.

It started raining during the opening ceremony, there was some concern to be seen among the competitors. The morning stages will most probably get extremely slippery and tricky.

Congratulations! I know what it takes to organise a first ever WRC round. I am excited to see how it goes for Croatia and, of course, how the battle on mostly unknown stages goes. I'm sure all here share my sentiments. Bring it on!
