There are not a lot of public areas. Take a look at the map. The photo was taken on the slope at "P Bus".

I have been observing their weather in recent weeks and it actually looks quite good. Sever minus degrees mixed with plus degrees are expected in next two weeks. Should be good conditions for ice to form. If it will not turn worse, then I expect thick ice layer, maybe less snow than usual but ice on the surface is the most important thing. If there are no plus degrees during the rally, then everything is OK.
The new shakedown stage were used in the 80īs. My first sight of the new Peugeot 205 GrB with Ari Vatanen was in the last corners in 84 or 85. Years are getting mixed up more and more... And what a car that was compared to the Audi quattros. A few years later or maybe 86 Stig B and Kalle Grundel did a failing try to drive Sierra 4WD Sweden built. However gearstick failed on 1st stage for Kalle and if I remember correct even for Stig later on. Bad welding that was.
Minus degrees the last ones. Zero or higher the first one I believe.

Looks promising if the cold weather is back after the weekend.
