That's kind of the unwritten rule on the thread. But it can often take a day or two before the original poster replies. But keep guessing (as I'm sure you will get the chance to post a car soon) as the thread progresses and if there is a long delay somebody can step in. BTW, that's an Avenger so Sir Tomski wins.

So that car was called Viva in England? Here (in Argentina) it was manufacturered by Chrysler and sold under Dodge 1500 badge. Interesting.

No, Steve (or the picture source) got it wrong, That is a Hillman (an old Chrysler brand) Avenger and that's why it was a Dodge in South America. The Viva was a Vauxhall (a GM brand) model.

Ahh, now that you mentioned, I remeber my father told about the "Dodge 1500" being a Hillman, you are right. Thanks.

You know that the mechanical base for the iranian Paikan which was (or still is) produced by Iran Khodro is that Hillaman?
Some argentinean parts suppliers, which used to be suppliers for the Dodge 1500 were contacted by iranians for some gearbox parts for that car.

Zeque, I think the Paikan was a version of the Hillman Minx which was the 4 door sedan before the Hillman Avenger.
