Rally Sweden 2013

I've been super busy after the rally because of studying, but just a short comment about the rally - it was awesome, nice atmosphere, great to see Volkswagen's great speed, everything went smoothly for our group. FM rally radio nearly not as good as in NORF, same goes with signs to stages/parking but it didn't affect us too much because of good knowledge, maps and media sticker. Overall, really nice and special rally for me, I only realised in Hagfors that it was my 20th WRC rally live - I had a good pepper steak in Karlstad to celebrate it. :D I hope this wasn't my last visit to Rally Sweden.

Don't quote me(!), but I believe the parking fees go to the local car clubs that help organise the various stages, certainly this is how it works at the Midnight Sun Rally.

I do believe however, that in Finland some of the land owners get quite a lot of money for people parking in their fields, supply and demand I guess!

Anyway back on topic, I'm really envious of some of the photos shown here, wish mine were as good!

Anyone still in doubt about the exellence of Sebs 1+2?
In 2011 some said its because of the car they were in the front... bla bla bla you know?
Now even in Sweden they cushed the opposition... simply Amazing drivers.
I know the finns had some problems. Still early in the season... excuses are running out fast thou.

It's a week on from doing the event now, and what a fantastic rally it is! Breathtaking.
Some of the best WRC commitment, action and excitement I have ever seen.
