well ... nice place, but the owner of the house must be happy ... and after we are surprised that people don't want rallies behind their doors.Quote:

Then 3 "Régional" rallies.
Too were quite interesting. First of all, the Rallye Draguignan made its comeback. There was at the start Arzeno with a 207 S2000 (Pitstop). Against him another S2000 (Desidelli, Drakko Sport). Some interesting crews in 2WD : Magnou (206 S1600) and Audirac (DS3 R3). It was not so easy for Arzeno who faces some difficulties against Magnou and Desidelli, but at the end he won, behind Magnou and Desidelli, for his first run in S2000.

Other interesting Régional was Les Vins du Gard. Nicolas Bernadi was back in rally with the Fiesta S2000 of Maurin (he is Maurin's coach). Nicolas Liron with the ex-Macek Corolla finally didn't start, the car isn't ready. Against Bernardi, no one ... Salinas, winner of Twingo R2 trophy, started with Mégane, and made a good race. But it was impossible for him to fight against Bernardi's Fiesta. It's Daiel Nicolas with Clio R3 who finshed third, but there was a nice fight btw him, Janel (C2 S1600), Antherieux (Clio R3) and Masclaux (Clio Maxi).

And the last was the Rallye 24 Dordogne Périgord. Some good drivers but nothing extraordinary. Anthony Mora with his 318 Compact won quite easilly in front of Lerosier (Escort), and Robineau (Mégane RS) who took advantage of the retirement of Maurat (Golf KC).

For those who don't know, National are most important rallies in French Cup, with coeff 3, 4 or 5. WRC are allowed (and GT+ too, but it's link with french championship participation), and in some rallies, you can come from another country. The Régional's are the less important, coeff 1 and 2. They are shorter than National's, and WRC aren't allowed. And of course, it costs less.
Next week there will be Rallye d'Epernay, very important race in North part of France !
Pre-entrylist Rallye terre des Causses(gravel championship)available on rallye terre des causses (engagés)...
A fantastic entry for the french 208 Cup(19 crews) :bounce:
Note Belgian Cédric Chérain among them ;)
My ultra favourite is Noël Tron(the fastest young driver on french gravel to my mind)
I think Consani, Lefebvre and Privé will battle for the win in dthe 208 cup. Maybe Tron will be able to join them, but I don't think so...Quote:
