did anybody notice that Petter as the rally turned to gravel lost his speed?
that happens from him or the scubi in gravel show its weakness?
in any case Ostberg put in trouble Petter imo
Damn, Aava again has problems with this stage. :(
Uwe Nittel has been out of the WRC eight years. Last time he competed in WRC event during the season 2000. Very good driving indeed!
Yes I know, but knowing him there must be a very high pressure under the helmet!Quote:

Sandell takes advantage over Hänninen on split 2 for almost 3s... :p :
Does anybody have some idea why Hirvonen is so slow?
Timekeepers were correcting time...Quote:

I think that Ostberg clearly shows that the car is not the only problem of SWRT...
Playing it safe and waiting for Latvala to make a mistake?Quote:

'Hmmm Latvala for first men in squad.' I am starting to agree with COD.
Not sure yet, almost
Sandell was faster overall but less toward the end(from 3s gap it passed to 0.4s gap)... ;)
Yah, you are right.Quote:

Yes, sure, but we can not forget the important role of the road positions today. It´s a pity that we can´t see a real winter rally.Quote:

Anyway, before the rally Mikko said the most important thing is to keep Loeb behind and nothing else matters.
Let's say Mikko settles for second place. At points he would be 6 points ahead Loeb which is nothing. Three tarmac rallies and that's MINIMUM what Loeb catches him, probably even more with Sordo's help.
So, in many ways, more aggressive pace from mikko would be very welcoming :mark:
Aava had technical problem :-(
Instead of asking why Mikko is so slow shouldn't we be amazed about JML's pace? Mikko was ahead of Loeb at the time when Sebastien went off, didn't see anyone wondering at that time why Mikko is so slow?Quote:

Well, yes. But Norway was rather special with a lot of snow. But I agree that Mikko should be much faster.Quote:

I think that it is very bad to be first on the road even on the second pass.. because the slower cars are dragging all the snow back on the road and first few are cleaning it again
Loeb´s comments after the retirement:

I agree. Latvala set a blistering pace through the stages which his team mate coudn't follow or he didn't want to risk so much. Anyway noone could follow JM.Quote:

There are 2 more days for the rally end. I like to see how can Mikko cope with this pressure now and the pace he will follow the next days. Can he match Latvala's speed this weekend?
We ll see tomorrow!
agree with kleisj and Don Jippo
lets wait till tomorrow
So game over for Loeb.....If he is lucky he can grab a point or 2 but i wouldn't bet on it...
Amazing pace by Latvala !!!! If he wins, he will be the youngest ever winner of the WRC !!!
Ostberg also a revelation hope he gets another chance outside his home event !!!
P.Solberg seems to be trailling the private subarus as well as his team mate.....
With the current situatio which i doubt that will change the championship will be interesting for a few rounds at least.
@Tom 206
saturday is going to be hard for Sandel
Hanninen from ewrc.cz
There's a lot of understeering, because of the snow setup of the car."
I agree with one question...Jari Ketomaa is from Finland...
:) ,,,, bye friends... good day for all.
JARI MATTI LATVALA RULES!!
Will he superally? I got an impression he retired from the event.Quote:

Its a bit discuraging to see Mikko giving up so easily to be honest.....I mean every point counts if he wants to be champion and when you have Loeb as an opponent and so many tarmac rallies infront you just have to at least show you want to win....
Hirvonen looks like a scared little boy who doesn't dare to take advatage of the opportunity...he gives too much respect to Loeb in a surface he could win...
Any news concerning weather tomorrow. Will it be a gravel rally?
i don't know about that.....my internet connection failed a few hours ago and couldn't follow the news....If he doesn't sureprally to protect the engine then ok.Quote:
