Left rear puncture for Hirvonen and has only 7.2 seconds left of a gap on Neuville.
LOL Ogier had to re-open a gate on the stage! :D
Someone closed a gate on the stage for Ogier!! Hence loss of time to stop and remove it!
No, Ogier had to open a gate by himself!! Donīt say they dont throw stones either...?
Anybody know whether Mikko is able to continue?
Unbelivable. Stupid spectators.
Shouldn't be called spectators... ;) A rally-enthousiast is not doing such thing.Quote:

This will only make sens if they have long term program unless it's just marketing thing for Lotos, Lotos Rally Team in all 13 rallies with Mini can get more points than LRT in 5-6 rallies with Fiesta.Quote:

I think they said the facility to do so is in place, not sure he'll need it for this rally, but if had affected the result the time could have been given back to him.

WRC drivers from the '80s and '90s wouldn't have stopped to open the gate. They would have pushed the throttle harder!Quote:

may be for the interest of sport, new winners, new heroes have to be produced. new manufacturers has to come in to play.Quote:

mini for example, a big opportunity and investment from both BMW and prodrive.. they have created a WORLD fkin RALLY CAR and did a good PR.. all gone waste.. why? for DTM? so f**k BMW and DTM, this is a proper world stage sport. not local guys bouncing one another in beefed up prototypes..
both editions of sebs are great drivers. some others have pike moments. when we had gronholm it was still fun to watch, but now loeb step away while a big challenge appears. is it because they are both french? french legend in a french team vs a french upcoming hero in a german team?
why can't ford/m-sport afford ogier? or even save their investments (hirvonen and latvala)? we all knew ogier is a potential future world champion even at 2.0L era (VW was not around), couldn't mr wilson saw that?
i never believe big car manufacturers loose money and can't afford sporting. considering how many cars are sold by PSA or BMW or ford, the profit they make is so huge, WRC can only be a hobby for them. i don't count F1 into "sporting" it is a show.
OK, I... understand. We should have seen Loeb in full season this year too. But maybe Citroen knew about the streght of VW/Ogier and could say Loeb just doing few rounds, so heīd not so fast because of that.
Mini - yes itīs a shame BMW didnīt help more. DTM is just a circus only satisfying party people ...
I was in Oschersleben last year and believe me, the Germans loves DTM...Quote:

How many times does stuff like this have to happen Mexico, I don't care if its a big car market they shouldn't have a round anymore!!!
I think this closed gate was just a bad coincidence. It wa clearly visible that when they opened the gate it fell closed again. So, probably Mikko with broken left wheel touched the gate or threw some stones so that the gate came loose (he had probably different trajectors due to its broken tyre) and that is it.
Moreover, it is better to have thousands of spectators than having Rally GB with couple of people watching ceremonical tart or finish in the middle of the fiels... It is among the best rallies in WRC.
... stupid co driver let the gate close right in front of the car...Quote:
