The first was in Monte with the handbrake sensors to Ogier's car.Quote:

Mikko 4.2 secs slower than Dani on gravel over 18km! Don't think that Matton will be pleased with him after this morning.
Real shame about Ostberg... Hope Sordo can keep this up and Ogier won't blow everone away when he's on the right tyres.
However, Ogier is still 2 secs ahead and has 4 hard tyres more than the rest still in the transporter. Successful strategy I'd say.Quote:

Kubica really fast too in SS4 :)
Puncture for Robert Kubica?
Puncture for Kubica - presumably in the end of the stage, he was lucky :)
Kubica only 0.1 slower Than Lappi with a puncture. Before that he was faster than the Fin. Great job I think and now he's 2-nd overall in wrc -2
It must be frustrating for Kubica when Lappi always passes him after the last split :p :, this time by 0.1s...
Well Lappi, Kubica, Evans - Very interesting trio, it will be great to see how they develop. PG is showing what is possible (very much like Ogier last year) but he has free tyre choice I believe because he is not in the championship.
Both Lappi and Kubica have history for throwing it off the road when well-placed, Elfyn never has.
PS - Is it just me or does anyone else thnk they should be doing 2 more loops of these stages rather than driving to Lisbon for a 3km stage!
Well, it's of course easier to keep the vehicle on the road if you drive a bit slower... (this doesn't apply to Ogier in most cases, however...)Quote:

What history about Lappi You mean? He hit a stone in SS1 in RMC but that can hardly be counted as such case as the rally hardly started. In NORF it was engine failure. He won all rounds of Finnish championship last year as well as Rally Poland where he first run for Škoda.Quote:
