Had a nice event, it's always nice to see these old cars being pushed to the limits (yes they were). :) Especially François Duval, Alister McRae and Cédric Cherain were very spectacular!

The onboard is a good proof that the current generation of drivers is able to handle historic cars as well. Cherain was driving an Opel Manta A, and on this stage of the onboard video he was fastest, beating Duval, A. McRae, Snijers, De Mevius etc who all had a faster car. Must watch! ;)

Return of the first rally of the belgian championship. Saw a nice rally, only a pity there were a lot of retirements (Verschueren, Debackere, Bonjean, Snijers, Serderidis, Cherain, Soenens, Colsoul etc).
Loix was outstanding.
Van Woensel drove a nice rally, about the best he could do.
Princen was disappointing, the S12b is still a difficult rally...
Kobus, solid result, but still a long way from Loix.
The rest had kind of a lonely rally, big gaps and no big battles...

Spectated the rally: very nice. The fog in the morning was not so nice: you could only see one corner at a time.

Princen is the big favorite for me, but don't rule out Loix, Kobus, Cherain, Bonjean, Grooten and Bouche. All good drivers with good cars... Gone be a very nice battle! Add the R2 battle to that (Brown, Q. Collignon, Croes, De Cecco vs De Mevius, Demaerschalck, Dilley, Fernemont and Radoux can all win it), RWD (Lejeune vs Snijers), bunch of quick Evo's (Langenakens, Collard, Cunin, De Ridder and Renkin) and it should be a superb rally!
This weekend I'll be testing an App where I've been working on. It's a rally stopwatch with the possibility to post splits on twitter. If my 3G will work, you'll see my live splits on twitter with hashtags #rally #BRC #RallySplits #RallyStopwatch #RallyWallonie . If all goes well of course. I'll do 3-4 stages tomorrow, feel free to post feedback :-)
