Anyway, FIA wasnt able to make correct calendars, points classifications etc since the 90ies ...
At ERC Calendar, there is no date for Poland. Are they thinking to change the date, as Croatia Rally?
I've noticed this today as well.
This is the cup calendar but it's not the complete one :)
The events in the calendar are 20.
Total misinformation and confusion.
Dont believe FIA pages :)
I don't believe FIA and you are telling me about the pages :) :) :)
37 RALLY ISLAS CANARIAS - "EL CORTE INGLES" is at 2013 ERC Calendar?Quote:

Great news!
Craig Breen in 8 rounds in a Peugeot 207 S2000
Jeremi Ancian in 6 rounds in a Peugeot 207 S2000
Stephane Lefebvre in 4 rounds in a Peugeot 208 R2
Peugeot Rally Academy ERC chance for three young stars - News - ERC European Rally Challenge - Eurosport
I'm so glad for Jérémi Ancian winner of the 2012 Volant Peugeot 207 !!!
Peugeot-Sport should offer all the years winners such a "present", many many drivers would run the coming 208 Cup to get a drive in ERC :D
Breen named as Peugeot factory driver - 8 ERC events this yearhttp://www.ralsys.com/irally_admin/n...reenUlster.jpg
SWRC Champion and former WRC Academy Cup winner Craig Breen has been named by Peugeot Sport as a full factory driver.
The news is the main headline from Vélizy, as Peugeot Sport creates its own new Peugeot Rally Academy.
The Irish driver will take part in 8 ERC events this season in a 208 R2 - he's already listed on the Entry List for next month's Rally Liepāja-Ventspils Latvia, the second round of the 2013 FIA European Rally Championship.
Crucially, Breen will also work to help develop the Peugeot 208 R5, starting next week with a gravel test:
"This is incredible and beyond my dreams. I am really excited to work with a manufacturer like Peugeot Sport, I think of it since I was a young boy. To arrive here in front of a nice season is a good position to be in. My objective is to show good speed and challenge for some victories on a regular basis. For the testing program, I will give the best I can to support the development of the 208 Type R5”.
Breen will spearhead the Peugeot Sport ERC activity, with French drivers Jérémi Ancian and Stéphane Lefebvre alongside in 208 R2s. Ancian, who won last year's Volant 207 is provisionally scheduled to tackle WRC Azores, Tour de Corse, San Marino, Poland, Sanremo and Valais. Lefebvre is slated to do ERC Latvia, Azores, San Marino and Poland.
Bruno Famin, Peugeot Sport Team Principal:
"With the Peugeot Rally Academy, we are taking another step forward in terms of the support we provide to the winners of our promotional formulas. The 208 Rally Cup has all the required elements to be a great sporting success, with the 208 R2 which is already a leading car, a varied calendar and the unrivalled concept of offering a “drive” to the winner."
"I am confident that Craig will confirm all the good things that have been said about him in this year's ERC, and I can't wait to see how our winners will fare alongside him. There is no pressure on them to achieve results. It’s all about accumulating experience for these young drivers; we’re not fighting for the championship.”
The press release doesn't say anything about 207 S2000?
Good news though... is this a proper Peugeot Sport works entry or farmed out to Sainteloc or Kronos?
Sainteloc will run the cars under official Peugeot Sport banner.
It is a pity...Quote:

This is good news - he deserves a factory drive in ERC or WRC-2 at least, hopefully he will be doing WRC before long. Fast Eddie WRC what is your source? All other articles I have found (the one earlier in this post and on autosport.com) state he will drive the 207 S2000 to start off.
From crash.net:
'All three cars will be run by Sainteloc and will compete in the colours of Peugeot Sport, Total, Michelin and Sparco.'
Good to see, I think cars running in full works colours will give the ERC a bit more pedigree
From beginning Craig he will be driving Peugeot 207 S2000 and testing 208 R5.Quote:

Real shame that they will miss on Canarias and Barum Rally :( :(
And Ypres..
Breen and Ancian will start with 207 S2000, Lefebvre with 208 R2. Draft calendars for all three drivers here - Autosport
Breen will be there...Quote:

yes, really disappointing ... it's near to France, it's "local" international rally for all people living in North and some stages near to Lille ... don't understand why they don't come there :(Quote:

Warning: off topic.
Something that popped into my mind just now, why is Ypres always called Ypres (the French version) and not Ieper (the Dutch version)? After all the city is in the Dutch speakig part of Belgium.
I wonder too, I always find this strange ...Quote:

Ypres is also the English version of it and in the promo commercials on radio and TV they say it in English not in French, can't get the right word to explain in English :p . But it's English meant, offcourse for the international public..
Well the English called it "Wipers" in WW1, but I personally would prefer to see it referred to Ieper as that is it's local name in Flemish.Quote:

It's not just the beeb. We say 'Germany' and 'Spain' etc. when they already have names - there's no need to make a translation for Deutschland or España. Though maybe words like that should be anglicised as there is no 'ñ' in English. Likewise in Spanish (sorry Español) lessons at school I refused to write 'Londres' as my home city - it's LONDON!
Anyway I imagine I would be annoyed if I were from Ieper but kept seeing reference to Ypres Rally, or were from Spain (sorry again) and read David Evans of Autosport and Motorsport News referring to 'Rally of Spain'. Infact that one annoys me anyway
Guys, this is normal in all languages. There are Czech names for most of world countries, cities, rivers, mountains etc. too. I find it stupid too but what can we do...
For Ypres. Here almost nobody would know what is Ieper. People know Ypres from learning about WWI and I guess it is similar with most of the world and that's why the organization uses this more known name.
