Completely different the sound of a C4 and a Focus. The Focus looks like an electric car inside. The C4 is just the sound from the engine sreaming!
i found some videos of markko martin testing imrpeza 2008 http://www.scoobyblog.com/2008-01-31...08-impreza-wrc
Definitively C4 and Focus sounds are TOTALLY different ! The Fords were like Gr.N cars, we couldn't hear them (sometimes we didn't even realize they were already in sight), while C4 sound is so brutal compared to the other WRC cars... only the little Honda of the italian Betti had an higher sound trust me !Quote:

I was told that homologation of S14 WRCar would be based on non-WRX car, therefore no intercooler scoop on bonnet. Of course, this scoop was never used for intercooler vent in older Impreza WRCars, anyway.

Are you sure the vent isn't used in older cars?
That's the airfilter, on roadcars the scoop in bonnet is used for the intercooler. The wrc has front-mounted intercooler.

i don t think that this disc is carbon
from the grooves i recognise that must be Performance Friction discs
i think that is not allowed carbon discs in wrc
reigerz!!
its been a long time since new focus debut but this camber is still really really impressive!
Is Stobart testing at all ?
If not that must be a real drawback for the 3 drivers !

they look preatty different ! Bigger breaks are obvius in the old, because they were asphalt tests. But whats this green rod?
Stobart has not been testing more than few days during the previous years either, all about money.Quote:

I can see Roman Kresta in his usual role. Once more time he sets up the car for someone else... :(
Thanks for the links ! ;)
Well at least he has a cool paid job, and hes not sitting around like others... In any case he has loads more experience in the focus than other people and he could be called to drive in case something happens (like Clark did) although now that I think about it, wouldn't Kresta be like the logical choice instead of Clark in Jordan? He could've been way faster...Quote:
