i dont thing it is simmilar to ford and c4, it is still boxer sound. it is just evolution of old one

Yep I think Focus are very quiet (to be a rally car :D ) and C4's are more metallic.

Completely different the sound of a C4 and a Focus. The Focus looks like an electric car inside. The C4 is just the sound from the engine sreaming!

Definitively C4 and Focus sounds are TOTALLY different ! The Fords were like Gr.N cars, we couldn't hear them (sometimes we didn't even realize they were already in sight), while C4 sound is so brutal compared to the other WRC cars... only the little Honda of the italian Betti had an higher sound trust me !

True but Subaru had that boxer roar.I said that Subaru lost its sound

I was told that homologation of S14 WRCar would be based on non-WRX car, therefore no intercooler scoop on bonnet. Of course, this scoop was never used for intercooler vent in older Impreza WRCars, anyway.

That's the airfilter, on roadcars the scoop in bonnet is used for the intercooler. The wrc has front-mounted intercooler.

People that know the testarea have said that they never saw anybody so spectacular and fast as Latvalla on this testing ground. ;) :D ;)

i don t think that this disc is carbon
from the grooves i recognise that must be Performance Friction discs :rolleyes:

i think that is not allowed carbon discs in wrc

they look preatty different ! Bigger breaks are obvius in the old, because they were asphalt tests. But whats this green rod?

Well at least he has a cool paid job, and hes not sitting around like others... In any case he has loads more experience in the focus than other people and he could be called to drive in case something happens (like Clark did) although now that I think about it, wouldn't Kresta be like the logical choice instead of Clark in Jordan? He could've been way faster...
