Autosport also confrims that both, Atko and PG will be in Monte.

Probably PG is replacing McRae in Monte. Mcrae is always occupied with the Dakar effort in January and therefore unable to reach in time to Monte (last leg in Dakar starts later than the recce in Monte). This year there are even 7 McRae buggys at the start list for Dakar.
Also Nasser and few other drivers there. I also noticed than Jan Tomanek is in Dakar together with Michael Honda.
Proton is believed to be stepping up it's commitment to the rally programme: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/88580
Look on the bright side guys; they have two really good drivers for Monte, if they have some reliability and the surface is tricky they could get a strong result!

thats defenetly true, at snowy and wet conditions its mutch more up to the driver. and as we all know, esopecially andersson can squeeze a lot out of a bad or not so good car. i´m looking forward to andersson and atkinson, both are very talented!Quote:
