I couldn't watch the earlier match because I was working but if the noise was anything like the France/Uruguay game then you're completely crazy. It's a horrible noise which is absolutely ruining the excitement of a world cup. What's wrong with good old fashioned crowd noise? I think that it's a sad thing to see in football, we shouldn't need these things to create any sort of atmosphere. If I hear anyone with one of those at the real St James Park next season then the only time they'll get to hear the noise again is when they fart.
