Very good to have Harry Vaulkhard coming back next year with this year's WTCC Chevies. Hopefully Tempus Sport can quickly find their feet in touring cars and get a decent driver to partner Vaulkhard.

In the current economic climate, it will be a real achievement for the BTCC grid in 2009 to be larger than it was at the end of 2005. I think it's very possible.
I think that with Honda's apparently likely withdrawal from Formula One that they should keep themself firmly in top level motorsport by entering the BTCC. But of course I would think like that!
I would certainly hope for more than 17 cars. I wonder if anyone can think back to the last recession to hit the UK in the early 90s, how many cars on average did the BTCC have on its grids?Quote:
