No matter what the stewards must be totally isolated or dead if they didn't notice something "interesting" happened on the live covered stage. That's the only part of the rally that you can see even if you're stuck in race control! Back when I worked at the rally and worked with getting live coverage online together (that was in -07) they were literally waving their hands in there when they finally got to see live action. Some guys hadn't seen any competitive action (live) of the Swedish Rally for ten years because they were always stuck in race control :P

Well, how entertaining was that? Admittedly, Sweden is often one of the less 'predictable' events, but nonetheless I think this has to have been the most interesting WRC round for years. Will the rest of the season match up? Possibly not, but I'm more hopeful now for the future. One point that does come to mind, though — given Citroen's slight struggle against the Fords, the Minis will have to be seriously good straight out of the box to get anywhere near. Let's see.
