Mikkelsen highly impressive in Finnskog today. Within 0.4s/km off arguably the fastest driver on snow at the moment on most stages. Shame Andreas couldn't be in a Polo for Sweden.
Ostberg had engineproblems the first stages, and he and Prokop drove with wide WRC-tyres for testing before Sweden. Mikkelsen drove with normal "nordic" narrow tyres and had an advantage.Quote:

regarding the Swedish Sprint Championship, there WILL be a summer event as well, in the beginning of July in Halmstad.
I would guess that the rally event well be held on Saturday July 6th.
Just like the winter sprint the summer sprint will be a part of the Swedish Championship week.
2nd place for a Mini!!Quote:

On Ralis.Online they have an article about pre-entrylist of the championship and his name appears(could be at the wheels of a 207 S2000, like Bernardo Sousa)
Yes, and probably on the same team as well! We will have an interesting championship this year! Bruno Magalhães is rumored as well!
really good news for Portugal to refind a good championship, with good drivers driving top cars. Last year was disapointing year ...
Anyway on 19th february should be published entrylist of Rali Serras Fafe, first event of portuguese championship...we will then see what "health" will have this championship ;)
Many drivers won't be on Serras de Fafe because it's the only gravel rally of the champ! Rali de Guimarães will have a much better entry list.Quote:

Sata Rally Azores not part of portuguese championship ?
@Swedish members: Does anyone know if Tobias Johansson who is now driving a Volvo is the same Tobias Johansson who drove in WRC rounds some years ago?
No, the inter(nationals) Azores, Madeira and Portugal will be part of a cup.
thx Andre ! ;)
Sorry, I'm not Swedish ;) but here's what the former WRC driver says on his FB account: "Lost 2 minutes and the defeat at second-to-last leg ... puncture front right"Quote:

This weekend there will be South Estonian winterrally. Conditions are just great. There is approximately 50 cm of snow, little-bit more is expected in next few days and temperature during the rally will be around -3..-8 degrees. Currently it looks like it will be the best winterrally in 2013 so far (conditions I mean).
Entry list closes today: RALLY » Competitions » Entries

I'm really looking forward for both events, especially Guimarães, the new location of Rallye Targa. In the Nineties, I used to start my season as spectator in this event when it was called Rallye Sopete (then called Casino da Póvoa and after that Torrié). It was very disappointing when the rally was moved from Ponte de Lima and changed the surface from asphalt to gravel. This season I was expecting a return to places as Vilar de Mouros or Estorãos, but Viana do Castelo wasn't chosen as the new location. In any case, it will be nice to see again CPR on asphalt in the North. Briteiros or Santuário da Penha will be challenging stages.Quote:

It's official now for Bernardo Sousa, full portuguese championship in 207 S2000 :bounce:
On ralis.online.pt they write today Miguel Campos is sure to run Serra de Fafe in a Mitsubishi Evo X, but on the picture Campos poses near a Ford Fiesta...what's the point
Because they didn't find a newer one! :DQuote:
