has anoyone heard about this?
Bravo Capito, that's what WRC needs at the moment. More obscure rounds! It has worked really well for F1 already....
Citroen debuts new test in Portugal with C3Wrc 2017 this week http://goo.gl/5Rgor6
Looks like the story originated from an Indian journalist on Motorsport.com. So I doubt Capito was pushing the Indian agenda, rather responding to being asked about the potential of it.
In bigger news M-Sport's 2017 WRC mule test car turned a wheel for the first time last week.
Yeah there's one in MN today - so it should appear online soon. A bit like the Hyundai mule there's not much to see outwardly though. There's supposedly a big rear diffuser which isn't shown.
The other interesting thing for me is a quote from Yves Matton regarding Craig Breen. He said next year there will be 15 (factory) seats and he can expect to be in one of those. But not necessarily at Citroen, as they are still narrowing down their shortlist.
So 15 seats implies 3-car teams across the board. But we've heard conflicting stories about just two cars from Toyota and Citroen within the last month?
Maybe not 15 at every event. Notably at tbe start of the season.
