I think tyre tactics is a great part of the sport. It's just frustrating to see a team gamble on slicks against seemingly all available weather data. We heard for days that the weather would come in today, confirmed yesterday, this morning, by just about everyone. I can hardly believe the Ford's choice was based on best expectancy statistical data. It looks like a low probability bold gamble. While you see Loeb always go on conservative side in these situations. Which is not really conservative, it's just a team who knows how to calculate expectancy.
