Ogier "It's a wet Rally GB, with slick tyres"
ha.
Very difficult conditions, which is testing the skill of the best in the world. So to be fair this rally is far from the joke some people thought it would be.
So far it's been enjoyable. I for one am just happy to see the WRC back on our screens!
As an aside Suninen's car sounds brilliant, like an M3 or something :rotflmao:
what..? Lappi with 4 snow tires.. it's plus degrees there..
Lappi with snow tyres
Kalle's wipers don't work.. and big time loss
The whole place looks superb... the huge grandstands and all the history. What a place.
Kalle without wipers,probably less rain
and Lappi fastest with the snowtyres
Looks like the snow tyres are a good shout.
Cmon Lappi!! Great to see
Snow tyres have much more traction obviously
Damage FL rim on EP car

is Ott for real? every stage so far with spare tyre
I dont understand Ott
Its so obvious that snow tyres with deep grooves is better on mud.
Lappi had big impact to left front wheel. Almost broken rim.
this was a pretty bad stage for the Toyotas
Again, why? On stage, if you puncture you've already lost enough time to lose several positions so changing a tyre won't help that. On road section, in a closed circuit, they in theory can limp back to service without four turning wheels even if regulations require that. I'd need to check if it refers to all road sections or just public roads.
Generally in last 2-3 years Hyundai can be very fast... if the settings are right. And if they are not perfect they quickly fall back, while Toyota seems more universal.
Do we see that effect here with those services in between all the time? (plenty of opportunity to finetune and change settings)
Looking at the webcams in the area for tomorrow i don't think there will be any snow, + degrees over night as well, maybe for SS9 if it snows a lot today?

That camera is too low:
use these two (both on the actuall route of the third SS)
