So Evans actually lost more time saving tyres on the short previous stage than he did on the long one. If a gamble it didnt pay off...:(
Camilli stoped to change a puncture, and finished the stage just 11,6 slower from the wrc2 pro leader.
Budar saying the same as mentioned here, that maybe they didn't focus enough on tarmac (thinking they were good).
Says they first plan for tarmac development before germany. Dampers and difs here are same as last year.

if the car was not understeering (that much) last year and they didn't do any development and/or changes it shouldn't start to understeer now...

Very short shighted point of view, as usual Eddie.
Look at it this way: Evans would have lost a shit load more time than he did, if he didn’t save his tyres on the earlier stage. By doing what he did, he’s only still a couple of seconds off Tanak, meaning he’s very much within striking distance, should Tanak suffer the smallest of glitches.
Thought you were an M-Sport fan... you should be buzzing that Evans, on pace alone, is so close to first place in Corsica.
There’s not many would have bet a fiver on that at the start of the year. If he gets second here and he’s fought so closely to Tanak, it will be like a win for him and the team.
Not all first places are victories.
Evans saying he was too careful on the middle stage and hopes to put it right this afternoon.
T16 you are talking crap as usual. Evans gained no advantage trying to save tyres. Tanak went flat out knowing the long stage would be dirty and tyre wear not a factor.
And being an M-Sport fan doesnt mean blind support. I hope they do well but I call it the same as for any other driver if they dont.
First really difficult stage and very good time by Ogier. Says something about driving skills...
Maybe Citroen and Ogier suits better the tricky stuff than the racingcircuit like fast stuff?
Ciamin about his retirement
Abandonment Unfortunately due to a blocking of the Steering, the car typed rocks. Nicolas could not do anything... #tourdecorse #nicolasciamin #rallye It was 2nd of the WRC2 and even 1st following the puncture of Eric Camilli. Really bad luck!
the steering problem at polos looking serious

Lappi really hates dirty tarmac with gravel. Zero confidence.

Meeke splits are fastest so far. Unpressure driving paid with a good time
Loeb not happy with the i20 now. Like Sordo he never knows how its going to be.
not a great third split for Tänak
but same for Evans
Kaetanovicz seems with puncture
Meeke's time seems to hold till the end?!
Yes Elfyn, nice run.
you just cant separate those two former teammates!
amazing
It's getting hotter here. And both Tanak and Evens staying calm and relax with such a battle. Amazing.
If Veiby keep up his pace - could be 3rd at the end of a day. 12 sec to Gryazin
Indeed, Lappi should go this route:

Interesting battle aswell in Juniors. Kristensson ahead by 4.9sec but was cutted by 13sec only at last stage. Tannert in big push in 3rd too. 3 way fight for a lead.
