Any more detailed info where Latvala's misfortune happened? He told wrc.com on a right over crest just before junction to a wider road, is that 1,7km or 4,8km? We were at 1,5 km, a right over crest that continued immediately into left with deep cut and rocks on the inside. Junction came 300 metres later. Latvala cut deep and many spectators said they heard a bang as if someone broke. I didn't heard anything, but who knows. Even Sordo already was on the sumpguard there. The rock on the rut was EDIT not that obviously big, so perhaps it was later in the stage for Latvala. Road got relative soft and rutted.
Novikov brought it the craziest, sideways in the jump. Contrast to following Neuville was immense, he had fast but super clean line.
Gilbert and Amberg were my favourites of the 2wd drivers - and Cronin too. Evans, Ketomaa and Kubica fastest wrc2, also Lappi, Paddon and Kruuda (and Gryazin) nice. My first sight of Lukyanuk wasn't intense, he took it carefully.
Some 4 kms of cars parked roadside P2 at Torittu. Popular event.
Why is he listed as class 3 and not 2 as S2000 and Imrpeza R4?Quote:

Novikov too. Neuville said he lost maybe 3 or 4 seconds but he's still quicker than Ogier.Quote:

Crazy times for Neuville & Hirvonen
Imagine the impossible situation the end of the Rally 2 drivers with equal times. Who will be declared winner - the first driver achieved that time (which is the slower driver the previous day)
Who ever is fastest of the 2 through the 1st stage isnt it?
Solid times from Meeke, happy with that so far :)
 beat me by a short head
I can't imagine 2 drivers with identical times up to 0.001 seconds. :pQuote:

Dont know if things would look the same if Latvala was still running normally though...
Ketomaa in the league of his own among class 2 guys. Showing the true potential of R5 cars.
How does the R5 look & sound on stages?
The R5 looks good but could sound a lot better.Quote:

@JariMattiWRC needed to retire after SS04. The team will pick up the car and bring it back to service. (1/2)
What is the reason they run in groups of 4 cars and then 6 min break?
30 sec gap for each car in group of four
Juho second fastest on ss 4, nice. It’s been sometimes said that real NORF starts on the second day and let’s hope all the guys can keep on pushing.
Ostberg had better conditions in his group, so he's back in the fight now and passed Ogier.
Mikko really pissed off, 10 seconds behind Ogier now which is about two days in Finland.
They're doing two laps of HimosQuote:

Anyway it looks like R4 will not continue in the future and recent N4 will be renamed to R4 (and stay separated from R5, RRC, S2000).Quote:
