I don't think the rear wing of an Evo X gives (much) more downforce than one of an R5 car. I think the stability will be different. Due to long wheelbase a group N car will be less nervous in these extremely fast turns, it probably gives more confidence. Also acceleration on high speed (like from 150kph to 180kph) is maybe better with Gr.N cars? > Someone who knows more about this can tell us more I think?

Congratulations to Lukyanuk. When you see the onboards it's unbelievable he kept the car on the road, it's madness!

congrats to Lukyanuk-Arnautov,excellent and faultless rally from first stage.
Congrats to Kajto too,for this pace for his first time at this rally, the only one can match the pace of the crazy Russian, and stay inside the road.
Second time when production car wins, after Kajto at Polland 2011 with impreza.
cant wait to see Luky onboards.

the thing i like about Luky is that he doesn't crash even though he seems to be on the limit most of the times... of course the limit you push to beat the nobodies of ERC is different from the limit you need to push to be a challenger in the WRC... but still, lets hope Finland goes well for him and we have a nice addition to the WRC for the future.

Last two corners of the rally for Lukyanuk on the video :D

oil pressure again for psa r5 car
Breen from official erc site
“Towards the end of SS14, we started to lose oil pressure – something’s happened inside the engine and there is nothing we can do about it,” said Breen. “We could have driven on for a bit, but it would have destroyed itself.
