Having watched the BTCC since the late eighties, have great respect for many drivers and up until yesterday one of those was Matt Neal. I have to say though that the way he blamed Tom Chilton for the incident in race 2 was utterly unacceptable. Tom gave Matt the slightest of nudges to what is a much smaller car, and if Matt is trying to tell us that he has never applied that kind of pressure on another car then I don't believe him. You only have to look at the failed move he tried to put on Giovanardi towards the end of race 3 to see that's not the case.
I think having won two championships (especially back to back) Matt can rightly think that he is one of the senior drivers (he has been around the longest after all) but to start throwing his toys out in the way he did yesterday is uncceptable to me.
I know I a few may disagree with these comments but I don't apologise for making them.
