and rules regadring testing:
66.4 TEST RESTRICTIONS FOR P3 DRIVERS
P3 drivers are prohibited from testing in a country of a Championship round during the three weeks
preceding the rally except when:
- Such testing is mentioned in the supplementary regulations as part of the programme of the rally, or
- Approved in writing by the organiser to the FIA and open to all P3 drivers entered in the rally.
In either case, such testing shall be limited to one day at one venue unless otherwise approved by the FIA.
I could not findmore restrictions for SWRC drivers for 2012
what I was about to say is: when you have Prio 3, you are entered in the supporting champ for this event. Yes, I guess it is wildcard as Abbring has not Prio 3
Last year VW drivers were priority 2
Today had chat with Piero Liatti (1997 winner), asked him if he would do some WRC outings just like F.Delacour is doing MC next month. He told me: "No, I'm old man now. :D " Just doing some job for new Italian hopes.
