I missed a good question and finally this place came alive.
Now Anfields gone :D
Anyone who got a right answer can post a question though I guess. Go ahead
sorry for the delay, busy weekend.
Question.
What is the only country (as with Steve's last question only include self governing countries, not dependencies etc) that has no official capital?
Wow. Good one.
Erm....... It might have a capital of the same name, but could it be Vatican City? (UN class it as a country)
Vatican City is both a country and an official capital City, as is Singapore
South Africa? It has separate legislative, juridical and administrative capitals.
good answer, but South Africa has 3 official capital cities (Pretoria, Cape Town and Bloemfontein) as you said, and Myanmar has 2 (Naypyitaw, Yangon). The nation I want has no official capital city/town
Taiwan. The government consider they are a "government in exile" for the whole of China so, if they named an official capital they would in effect be withdrawing their claim to the Chinese mainland.
not Taiwan - Taipei is reconised by the UN and is listed in the CIA World Fact Bookl
