+1 I like the livery of his car last year. I was shocked by how quickly Kimi was dumped by Red Bull though. But I guess that's what you get if you jump into a WRC car to early and fail to make the most of things...

This is exactly true. But it's not only in the dark that vision is affected but when it is most noticeable.Quote:

Kimi has been wearing RedBull hat/cap in every Rally this year, just look pictures/videos of him!
i think that link should go in the official germany thread.....
I don't think Kimi is dumped by RedBull otherwise he wouldn't wear hats with RedBull on it ;) ..
PantaAlex was already saying that hehe :D
Red Bull hat or helmet is not a full sponsorship. Red Bull pay 2000 euros for this and that's all :)Quote:

just heard on the radio sportnews that the Swedish rally seems to be safe for another three years.
2012 it will be held on February 9-12 and on of the three legs will be held in Norway.
Peugeot and Skoda are working with FIA to introduce new category in 2012. They want an S2000 close to 'home' car with 1.6T motor and for only 100K EUR.
Sounds very promising!

I think it's not a new S2000, but a new class like R4.Quote:

There is also a rumor that Peugeot could have the new 208 in the next summer in this new class.
Has this any connection with this?
This was also on Maxrally couple days ago.Quote:

Yes!!
:) :) :)
A step in the right direction! But Petter retiring? A step backwards IMO!
I know also that a "test" will be done in France during Rallye d'Alsace... he confirmed anything about that?Quote:

More spam...this is really informative bradcast but unfortunately it's only in finnish.

Mahonen: FIA has serious negotations going on with two major car manufacturers. These two have also their own WRC pre-projects going.http://areena.yle.fi/audio/1311702267022
That's maybe the most important thing about this. Don't want it be something PPV alike :-/Quote:

Toyota and a certain Italian manufacturer would be more than welcomed.
Todt proposed this for F1, so Mahonen the a**licker was quick to respond :)Quote:

Don`t forget that there were recent rumours about Subaru, which is Toyota owned. The other manu could be Fiat/Saab (which I seriously doubt).
I think Toyota are large enough to do both Sportscars and WRC. Rumours keep suggesting Subaru to WTCC. TOYOTA have had a torrid time of late with bad publicity, what best but to launch a hi tech hybrid type Sportscar programme and a WRC (especially if that is going more long distance and back to Africa) I think it would be a high stakes game for Subaru to come back, last few years were not good for them and even in UK whilst in their last year or so rallying the marketing people we pushing Legacy estate for horse shows rather than the mid 90's blue and yellow Colin fanboys.Quote:

About FIAT, to me it's impossible that they join WRC.
