The conditions are favouring the risk takers.
Will be interesting to see the second run later today.
Yes, he is (7 WRC). Unless you count Delecour (15).Quote:

Who has studded tyres?
Looks like heavy snow too. Interesting.Quote:

they said winter tyres, but didn t said if they are studed.
Is that a hedge or wall?
Well, it's only small section of the stage that claims up to 1300m, so it may be a factor, but not for studed tyeres, that's for sure.
I think it was wall (I looked it yesteday)
Another camera that is around 14 km from stage at the elevation of around 1050 m. There is very little snow:

So, the differenece with elevation is big
Only Meeke and Sordo have 2 winter tyres with no studs??
Meeke has 2 winter tyres, no stud, and 4 ss tyres.
Bouffier Meeke Sordo and Evans were the only crews they had 2 snow tyres. All the others were with 5 or 6 soft slicks.
Looks like the snow is being cleared by the gravel crews/spectators etc leaving ice.
Now it is raining even on 1300 m elevation, so, that should make again things worse for the first starters and favor later starters.
Early starters get snow etc, later starters get gravel and mud. Swings and roundabouts.
Could be carnage in this stage with HUGE time differences..
Can anyone copy the link for the radiostream?
I'm att work and I can't get the radio playing on my (WinXP, IE8 (can't install any other browser)) or my Androids (Nexus 4, S2+)). :(
Does the wrc site not work???
You can argue about tyres, road conditions e.t.c. but Kubica won both opening stages of Monte on his first attempt, that's pretty incredible.
What happened to Delecour?
You can have best conditiond on the stage.. but you have to have balls to use these conditions.. Kubica definitely has these balls :-)
In the forum-rallye forum they say it was an off.Quote:

Problems with gas pedal, similar to Kajto in Janner.Quote:

Rally like it should be. Unpredictable, affected by the elements.Quote:
