So Donkey's answer is the best with two correct places so the question is yours Donkey.
My humblest appologies, I counted only 8 in the origional question, and thought a ninth one had some how appeared as if from no where  I will now go away and learn to read and then learn to count.Quote:

Or maybe I did?
It seems Donkey aren't going to ask a new question so I guess the question is free then.
Fair enough - so how about, what part of the land on earth is the lowest?
Do mean part as in country or so and surface or subsurface?Quote:

there that is supposed to be very low.
Either that or perhaps Death Valley in California which is below sea level.Quote:

Not Azerbaijan - but Azerbaijan does have the lowest Cap city in the world Baku is 90+ m below sea level.Quote:

The shores of the dead sea in places are over 400m below sea level, this is the lowest point on land, although the valley below the Byrd Glacier in Antarctica is recorded at 2.8km below sea level, but as it is covered in ice this doesn't count.
Tour question Storm
yes!
oh crap, I have to ask a Q now... :erm:
List the so called Eight Thousanders (mountains with a height of more than 8000m)
If this is too obscure - atleast the top 5 and their location.
I know only Everest and K2. The others are probably in the same area but I have no clue.
Yes all are in the Himalaya or there abouts...and Everest and K2 are P1 and P2 respectively.
I wouldn't be surprised if there are other 8000m+ high peaks called K3, K4, K5 and etc...
No K2 is the only one like that, all others have proper names.
Ok, like gadjo. K2 and Mt Everest is the only two I have ever heard about.Quote:

IDK but Nepal probably is a good guess.Quote:

Nepal/China border for Everest. K2 is not in Nepal. Annapurna certainly is (and also another 8000er) but not in the top 5
Everest
K2 (Chhogori) China-Pakistan
Kangchen - Nepal and possibly India
Oyu - Nepal
can't think of any more
1 Everest - Nepal/China (Tibet)border
2 K2 - PoK/Pakistan/China
3 Kangchenjunga (India - Sikkim)
Cho Oyu is one of the 8000ers but not in the top 5
Well if nobody else is attempting I will give it to you anfield?
4 Lhotse - basically the mountain next to Everest
5 Makalu
The full list of 8000ers:Quote:
