Correct!
You're up Civic.
I'll try to find a stumper. Anyways, I just remember that car because I think it was the best race of Vitolo's career when he brought his car home after almost everyone else had mechanical problems.
Sorry for the size but it's the biggest I found.

Thanks. The last car in line gave the photo away since Galles ran that color scheme for 1996 only then left to the IRL.Quote:

also, Detroit was the only wet race that year unfortunately. The next wet one would be at Portland 1997. What was the last wet race before Detroit 1996? I'm not sure if there were any in 1995 and I'm almost 100% sure there weren't any in 1994 either so that would leave Portland 1993 I think...what do you think Phoenixent?Quote:

Your Turn.
He is definitely one of the most under-rated or maybe more ciorrectly under-appreciated of the AOWR stars of the era. I found it kind of sad that the only picture I could find of that car was the one you had posted which was from a hearing aid adverstisement.... You would think the last ride of a 4 time Indy winnner would at least have some web photos....
Anyway - another one coming in a minute....

Here's the next one - please keep in mind most of my file names give the answer (its the only way I can keep track of these things!!) so don't look too closely or you'll spoil the fun!!

A long time lurker chimes in and lobs one up.

Correct with regard to the track, but not the driver, chassis, or year.
I thought it would be hardest to identify the course, but since you did so well with the track can you say where on the course this was taken?
I seem to remember the tires being covered in the orange barriers leading on to the backstraight.
And now that i think about it...
It's actually Norberto Fontana with a Reynard in 2000.
