Athanassoulas is very impressive, just as he was last year in the Fabia.
Also, the big progress of the Fiesta S2000 can be seen by the times of Sousa who I can't remember ever being fast before. It seems M-Sport made quite a big jump with that car at least. Skoda have some work to do, but I wonder whether they have taken their eye of the ball with the "old" car whilst developing the 1.6T.
I think that Škoda homologated only new pistons and valves for engine lately. It seems that there was something on rumors from last year saying that while Evo 2 is reasonably better than Evo 1 on asphalt, it is actually slower than Evo 1 on gravel...

In my opinion a reasonable part of the ordinary forum members are on the stages and when the rally day is over I'm sure we gonna have more comments ( photos and videos ). Hope for more videos :D

I am getting fed up with Ford, they stopped developing Focus half way through last season, then I thought they will be way ahead of Citroen with Fiesta, especially when Citroen kept saying they had not enough time to develop DS3. The only reason Gronholm could had kept up with Loeb was because of his amazing outright speed on gravel. Most fanboys are too busy sucking up to Loeb and Citroen to realize this. As for the the rally, I don't think Citroen will allow Petter to win. If Petter wants to win he should make sure to have a long conversation with Quesnel tonight, otherwise random parts in his car will begin to implode.
