Is there any talk on Gardemeister's junior team? Is it attracting any young drivers yet, what events, what car, etc?

Confirmed my one month old article - Arai and Nutahara officially announced in IRC with Subaru - http://www.autosport.cz/clanek.php?cl=12098
Good news. I guess Arai at least should be reasonably competitive on the gravel events.Quote:

you can see two small videos of the car here: http://leblogergo.blogspot.com/2011/...ane-rs-n4.html
I wonder if 1 day they make a video game inspired by the IRC...
That would be awesome. Based on RBR, with new stages and cars! :)Quote:

Czech driver Petr Brynda officially confirmed start in Tour de Corse in Renault Trophy with his Clio R3 Maxi. He wants to do also Ypres, Mecsek and Barum but these are not sure. I think that it will be his first big international event.
I don't know what you mean by big , but he has driven the Croatia Rally in 2002 and 2004 ;)Quote:

Estonian Martin Kangur will do six or seven events in IRC: Prime Yalta Rally, Geko Ypres Rally, Barum Czech Rally Zlin, Mecsek Rallye, Rallye Sanremo and RACMSA Rally of Scotland. Depending on points situation he could make it to Cyprus also.

Fellow rally fans in Belgium, has there been any comfirmations on Neuville's further IRC calendar? I am of course interested in knowing whether Barum is in or out. Considering his brilliant result in Corsica there could be some more sponsor money to do both Yalta and Zlin... or not?Quote:

I think it will be decided later on, after Yalta and Ypres. If he makes good results in those rallies, i think there might be good possibility that Thierry will try to convince Peugeot to do extra events, maybe even supported by Peugeot Sport.Quote:

IRC Rally Radio
Pierre Campana is targeting a return to Intercontinental Rally Challenge action in Sanremo – or sooner if the funds can be found. Pierre is now talking to a number of the IRC teams about further outings this year.
Good news!
Julien Maurin will do Azores, Madeira, Ypres and either Hungary or Cyprus this year.
Nice, is good for him and ford, not the fastest but mostly finishes. Although previous years he had some hard crashes :D
Hungarian László Vizin will drive 4 IRC events this year the VW Polo S2000, János Puskádi after Tour de Corse will enter more 5 events with Civic Type R3.

He should drive in Ypres with assistance of RGRS and would have the perfect setup for ypres!
Whatever his team(s) is(are)I just hope he continues in a 207 :DQuote:

Yes Jack.. unbelievable... but that's very common nowadays... :(
What is Cedric Cherain planning to do after Yalta? More IRC events with the Megane?
All depends on the support that he recieves from Renault, but Cherain said that he really want to do more IRC events. After Ypres, only the remaining rounds for the Belgian championship (Omloop van Vlaanderen, East Belgian Rally and Rallye du Condroz) are confirmed with the Mégane RS.
If Kopecky screws over again like he did now in Ypres and Barum last year, and seems he's in danger to not get the title is there a possibility they get Hanninen back for more rallies to let him win it?
Sure. Juho will drive Acores now and possibly most of the later events.
I am certainly sure they do.
EDIT: Mirek faster again :)
Thought so, some said they will put everything on Loix but doubted that already. Juho and Jan are the main priorities because they are Skoda Motorsport and not really Loix (BFO and Skoda BE is supporting him) .
Freddy is driving for Skoda Motorsport on this weekend's Rally Bohemia so I think he is important to the works team too.Quote:

He got support from Skoda.ie like Loix gets from Skoda.be.Quote:

So, 5 gravels and 7 asphalts rallies? Rally Poland is very surprising for me also Rallye San Marino. No chance for rally like Monte or Janner?
