No, they have other guys too. The top guys will have guys driving the stages throughout Thursday checking the notes they have done during recce. Not during the competition part like happens on tarmac events.Quote:

The service park is a bit silly. Only place that makes sense is the MINI. Looks good with city back drop!
In the middle of the building will be a Fanzone which is good, Skoda, Ford, Subaru and Citroen cars are in there with other official stands... tomorrow early start for me as I'm out at qualifying and shakedown!
How did you get into the other area 6789? I went their earlier today and a fat ginger told me to stick it and that it would open tomorrow?!
Greetings! My wife and I have traveled from the U.S. to spectate Rally New Zealand. This is the first WRC event we have been to, so I was wondering if anyone has any advice for us. Should we stick with one spectator spot all day, or try to hit multipe spots? Looking at the rally maps it seems there are some you could go between, but I don't have a good feel for the amount of time it takes getting around. Also, any suggestions on spots we should make sure not to miss? Should we try to go to one of the service parks, or is it best to stay in the forest.
We have good rain gear so we should be prepared for any weather. Would it be worth it to pick up a pair of folding camp chairs?
We fly to Auckland from Christchurch in the morning, after having spent the last week touring around the south island. The scenery has been amazing, and the locals have all been very friendly. Looking forward to experiencing the north island next!
Any advice appreciated. Thanks in advance!
You should do what I did in Greece last month. Meet your friends from this forum on a spot and get some help from the NZ rallyfans or others attending. I´m sure you get help as much as I got from my greek friends in Loutraki!!Quote:
