Formula 1 game

I think that I ordered with Amazon but only because they were cheaper. My brother ordered GT4 from them with the idea that he'd get it on the release date. After a week of waiting he cancelled the order and just went to a shop and bought it.

I read there is no split screen (2 player) racing. Would be nice to play in the same room with whoever dares to challenge me.

amazon for me, they said first class delivery would result in arrival on september 24th (uk release day and dispatched on the 23rd) but apparently the estimated time of arrival is 23rd-28th september.

I ordered mine last month from ShopTo. They've posted it today first class so if it turns up tomorrow... let's see.

A mate of mine has managed to download it through Steam already, but it did cost him £10 more for the privilege!

Unless your friend is American, I don't see how that's possible. Is he actually playing the game? In Europe, it's available only to pre-load on Steam, that means only the game files are downloaded, and you can't play until you enter a key which you'll get on the release day, which is 24th. I've pre-loaded the game myself, and don't see any £10 pound option on Steam to play now.

Maybe he torrented this one. :p

Pre-ordered mine through a local shop. They've already informed me that I will be waiting until 30th for mine. :(

Some Dutch guys got theirs yesterday and sounds like all of them are having fun.

I ordered mine from the local Game store a while back. Will be picking it up first thing Friday then have a long weekend on Xbox live with breaks to watch the real thing!! :s mokin:

I'm in between two minds whether or not to get this. It would be the PC version anyway. I'll wait for the feedback here :s mokin:

I went with Super saver as I hate paying extra for p+p, so it might be on time or a few days late.

to be fair, apart from motorstorm I believe, no next-gen racing games have split screen these days. and that is a real shame.

Last time i played a race game (sort of) was Super Mario Kart and that has a 2 playermode. Those were the days. I stopped playing video games after the super nintendo. Untill now F1 2010.
