As shakedown times from 2012 will give drivers their choice of road position for day 1 , I think the final stage of day 1 & 2 should work the same way. If you have the fastest time on the final stage of the day, you then have first choice of your start position for next day. Then of course the power stage at the end of day 3 has the bonus points.
So basically there would be 4 power stages. Shakedown (for road position on day 1), final stage of day 1 (for road position on day 2), final stage of day 2 (for road position on day 3, final stage of day 3 (for bonus points).
This should stop the tactics that seem to be happening on every gravel rally these days.
