I think he is cautios enough, when you see wide corner in these conditions you use every meter of it to keep good momentum and as much speed as possible. Did you notice Hirvonen almost gone off after the corner, being cautious before it? For me that was bigger risk.
If is strechy word... With many 'if' Loeb wouldn't be 9 time champion ;)

But isn't that the difference between Loeb and Ogier? Loeb was actually a cautious driver, just that his level of safe driving was on a different level to anybody else. He didn't take risks, he didn't need to 99% of the time.
As said earlier Ogier is a more entertaining driver because of his driving style. And long may that last, great to watch. He didn't need to go that wide on that particular hairpin with almost no traction. But as I said before, it was only an observation.

It is true that Loeb was more cautious probably, most of the time he didn't have to take many risks, because didn't need to. But circumstances on first day was such that some risks were necessary, otherwise Ogier might be merely 3rd/4th right now. It is driving on the limit and beyond that makes the win in such Rallies and that's why it is such great sport.

Drivers must put their spikes on (at least 2), that is lot of snow, and increasing...
