It got a lot better rally than we thought it would be given all the reports of bad roads that we have read before the start.

Sure, it could have been better but it's been worse Swedish Rally's too.
The roads there we were kept pretty good (at least where we were) but it sure was the gravel out after a couple of cars.
But the gravel was frozen so it didn't get two ditches that everyone must follow.
Only a few degrees colder, it would have been perfect (and a litle thicker layer of ice on the road).

My highlights from Rally Sweden 2014 from Shakedown, Torsby, Finnskogen, Lesjöfors, Rämmen and Vargåsen. Including Robert Kubica's crash both on Lesjöfors and Rämmen and lots of other close calls and podium interviews with the top three finishers :)
