Re: Rallye Monte Carlo 2014
Good morning!
The final day, and really looking forward to the classic Turini! :P
But before it starts 14.48, all you rally nuts look here for a live coverage of swedish rally championship in "sprint" with Petter Solberg in his C4 WRC, Thomas Rådström in a Xara WRC and many more. Put some of the fastest guys are sadly not there.
Qualify is live 10.30-12.30 here --> http://www.svtplay.se/video/1711148/sm- ... rally-kval
Final is live 13.30-14.30 here --> http://www.svtplay.se/video/1711144/sm- ... ally-final
And after the final, WRC Live waits 14.48 and Col de Turini! :D

that was the reason i always prefered Loeb from Ogier.With Loeb you couldnt find these errors even at Monte with same conditions as this year.You could watch 40 videos from past Monte.Not a single mistake like these.Same situation for every rally.
Imho was the driver who could drive, nearer the edge from any other at his whole carier.
another Monte video

we saw loeb in alsace when really under pressure :laugh: last monte he drove two stages and the tyre choice for next loop decided the rally
Re: Rallye Monte Carlo 2014
Hopefully we don't have cancelled stages!!! Looks like there's going to be a lot of snow and rain.

Remembering what happened last year too... :(
Re: Rallye Monte Carlo 2014
Well, any comment about blistering performance by Italian driver matteo Gamba?? Leading WRC2 class, with outdated Pug 207, on Hankook tyres....so much for Italian drivers , who are fast just on home soil...well done Matteo!!

statistics about driver errors per rallies they participate says that you wrote, is absolutely stupid.

Dimviii is right, Loeb was much smoother and tight. However when he did have to push 120%, which he rarely had to unfortunately, he would also make the ocasional mistake on gravel.
This is why I think the Loeb-Ogier comparisons are unfair for both of them. Ogier is much more agressive and sometimes all over the place in his driving style, while Loeb was smooth and incisive.
