as pointless as individual awards and world XI etc are, still amazing to see this guy win 4 in a row. I am happy to be someone who has watched him play since he made his debut...Finally the Brits seem to be coming around to the fact that he actually is better than that metrosexual #7

Still CR7 has a point..the criteria are ambiguous..inspite of winning only the Copa, Leo won the Ballon - by the same token perhaps CR should have won it last year.

The criteria may be ambiguous but it worked this year... and for the previous 3 years as well. The best player won. And since it's an individual award I don't see the point in arguing his teams didn't win this and that.

So it finally happened....Barca losing in the league this season, that is..bound to happen someday but worryingly it came after them being 2-0 up and even worse just after that 2-2 home draw in the Copa del Rey.
