VW starts rally Finland testweek tomorrow. (rumour) all drivers drive two days. One day 2016 car and one day 2017 car.

Actually, they have been working on moving the gearbox paddle from Fiesta to Clio for a few months. So it's more that they wanted it there, not that they had to. They had to get an approval from Italian Motorsport Federation (I don't know the name) to participate though.Quote:

Good question! Seb Marshall hinted/suggested on a recent Absolute Rally podcast interview that it's the aero set-up that is causing this. Notice how the Toyota doesn't seem to do that too much and supposedly neither does the Hyundai. Wether or not this is deliberate is a bit unknown.Quote:
