Smokey was always a little ahead of the curve... I love some of the folklore stories about him - like the 7/8 scale Chevelle he used in NASCAR (don't know if it is really true or just a tall tale....

It's funny that you mention that because DW mentioned that Bill Elliot's all conquering 1985 t-bird was smaller than regs thus aero faster than everyone else...
