Everything cost millions in rallying and now adding some mousse/tyre noodle to tyres wouldn't really change the budget.. except would maybe keep some costs down thank to not retiring..

On Estonian TV the commentator said that only on SS7 he counted 13 punctures and all the cars had not passed yet. Ok, not all are Pirellis but it is a problem.
Agree. The top tiers of motorsport should never be like this; F1/ WRC with Pirelli, and MotoGP with Michelin..... However, we get told a 'tyre war' isn't good for the sport. Neither are poor tyres...Quote:
