Interesting comment from El Maestro "tomorrow will be opposite, it might be better to be behind"...
Loeb not sure if later starting will be good tomorrow.
He gained a place no? Most drivers would be happy with that.
Comoare it to the approach of the leading trio in the championship.
"yeah I stalled it in a junction. Lost maybe 5 seconds"
With Latvala
"bbblrrhag I'm an idiot uuuurghh bkearrrghh fucking hell".
Keeping your head cool is also an important aspect of being a rally driver. Latvala would have been champion a long time ago if he had that ability.
He mentioned if it rains but the forecast is dry?
yeah he gained but was also ahead of Ogier. So that engine stall almost drop him both places
Yes Teemu - not starting first tomorrow at least.
great fight going on wrc2 pro but they decided to show map on wrc all live and end :)
SPL4 Ostberg and Rovanperä same time
Ostberg +0,8s to Kalle and overall +2,7s. Nice one
Neuville just 2,4s behind Latvala but that SS2 red flag case not end yet. Hope they wont give time back to him...
"Even if it was two seconds I would think it's [too much]."

Some people are just too slow to understand why Mikkelsen is not fast.
Didn't Neuvilles time assessment say it was based on performance so far and they would compare how he does on the 2nd running? Where he was 17.6s off 1st? So shouldn't they adjust his time to be worse?
You guys have a pretty short memory.. yes he is pretty bad here but Mikkelsen finished second in Argentina just a couple of weeks ago.
It was mentioned by Julian Porter in a podcast that they have a limited number of very expensive onboard camera kits and if there's a privateer in a WRC car, it's more important than the WRC2 Pro guys. Kalle and Gus have onboard cameras, Mads doesn't (or it's not working).
The street stage wasn't actually half bad, it had some nice fast sections, but the five donuts was just overblown.
EDIT: The Highlight reel has onboard footage from Østberg, maybe the transmitter wasn't just working since he wasn't shown on All Live. Pedro Heller also had an onboard camera.
So, what do we think about running order on the remainder of this rally?
Will it be an advantage to go early or late, overall?
Yesterday there were a lot of drivers who were uncomfortable with the conditions, talking about lack of confidence, and so on. Loeb started badly, but somehow got it together after lunch and he's put in good times ever since. Whatever he did, to his car or his head, it's working. I guess that's why he has the record he has...
How does the nature of today's stages differ from yesterday?
more fast and flowing
Yesterday it was still quite damp from the Thursday rains but now it should be drier so it should be more of a challenge to be first on the road.
More fast sections, less technical sections, but still a combination of both. The end of SS8/11 and the beginning of SS9/12 is super fast
I'm sure i saw a short clip with Østberg just before the finish of one stage, some of the cars now have HD camera's so maybe they bought a few more, price was 150.000€ for one kit wasn't it?
Loeb was the slowest Hyundai in 2 out of his 3 starts so far (and shared in Monte) and didn't get any faster on saturday /sunday in any of his 3 starts.
With C3 he was fighting on podium in each of the 3 rallies he drove and was fastest or shared fastest Citroen.
Here he put some good times in the afternoon but is still 6th. So basically he is just now coming to somewhere around his level in C3, about time.
Since you like to pick Mikkelsen out he led in the Hyundai on his first rally and led 2 out of first 3 starts. Concistency is another matter.
Only the top 3 have real consistency in fighting for podiums for the last year, and that's if we discount Ogier and Neuville in Finland.
Lol ∆
He was not comfortable with the car... He said that many times. He's getting used to it now, but let's give him a tons or testing and a year and a half like Andreas before we compare
Howcome you don`t get tired of this protective talking? He is in the king series, in a factory car, the same he started in back in 2017 and is not delivering, it is a miracle, in a situation where Hyundai desperately wants one of the titles.
Loeb, in Monte, in his first outing, was 7 and 8 for some time, climbed to 3rd once, finished in 4th. Third Hyundai crashed...
Sweden, struggled, but still, his last outing in a snowy event was 6 years ago? Third Hyundai was promising at some point, although being his home event, the end result and talk weren`t so good...pointswise, OK. Corsica, Loeb failed due to driving error and have to agree, nothing special afterwards, was otherways an interesting event also, with Ogier and Citroen also struggling. In his 4th outing with the i20, first one on gravel, six years later on moist/wet gravel, he was the closest man to Tänak last afternoon, whereas their third car, once again, is 8th.
Come on guys, let's just park that contest. I can be the referee and declare it a no-decision.
SO that was the JML mistake he was angry at
