Loeb coulld even be second after today...
Evans under team orders to be below Ogier and ahead of Neuville... typical msport crap.
Block and Andolfi without splits or standing...
2nd and 7th separated by 13 seconds, that's what you can loose in 5 km with wrong tirechoices and/or being unlucky with rain tomorrow.
Very interesting day... lets see what tomorrow brings.
i would like to see a dry day tomorrow
Latvala could be leading the rally now without his puncture, even if we would assume he had made the same time as Tänak on SS4.
Pressure now on Seb and Thierry, to see how far they can climb up the leaderboard. Thierry could be in trouble if Hyundai haven't sorted their tarmac pace.
unfortunately.

The question is what neuville would like to do ? have a small points advantage and clean the roads in australia ?or be less than 8 points behind and be 2nd on the road ?
Says it should be dry on sunday. So you can watch 0.5s differences between top5 on stages then and be satisfied ;)
FRI 18:09 - SS7: LOEB
And the Frenchman comes through to the end of the stage now. He's dropped 2.9sec to Latvala and he can't move up too far, he's currently fourth - just 0.5sec behind Evans and 2.9sec off Sordo. Co-driver Daniel Elena gets happy birthday sung to him by the fans at the stop line! Loeb says: "It was difficult in the beginning. I had a better set-up in the afternoon, I struggled with understeer earlier. Tomorrow, asphalt - if it is wet - will be tricky. Daniel is performing as usual! He didn't lose anything."

Good day for Kopecky aswell. Only 9 sec behind Kalle before two tarmac days for tarmac specialist, it must be easy job for Jan.
Solans push hard on splits. even faster than Camilli
Exciting day tomorrow. Also, as said, in WRC2. Let´s see what comes out of Saturday.
My guess:
Ogier in the lead.
WRC2: Petter slightly first...
And Petter drop to 3rd. Only 0.7 ahead of Jan. eeeexxxxccciittiiingg day tomorrow
Veiby stopped with electrical failure
after day1 it is a mega premier for Volkswagen (a bit expected) but a mega poor show for Citroen R5´s.....only 1 "survived" the gravel day.....Tempestini (8. in wrc2)
Sylvain Michel also stopped.
Overall a lot of retirements in WRC2 - 8 of 20! Veiby, Lefebvre, Lopez (all C3), Andolfi, Pieniazek, Michel, Bulacia (all Fabia) and Katsuta (Fiesta)

Was it a crash for Block in the end? Sounds like a silly question, but I don't like to assume! :D Haven't seen any pics/video yet.
He rolled, see video of the aftermath: https://www.facebook.com/rallypl/vid...9111405578623/
