Does anyone know how the ERC teams championship will work? I understand teams will have to register, but is it two nominated drivers to score or?
There is no limit of registered cars, but only the best two cars of the team will take points.
Thanks, I like it that way since it avoids stupid situations where a team wins an event but doesn't get the points. Can't imagine there will be many events where teams have three nominated crews this year though!Quote:

No,Lappi wil do a WRC-2 next year.
Is it that, where a Team have to pay 50.000 to FIA to score points?Quote:

It was previously planned, but they have changed mind to WRC2...Quote:

Actually it looks it is cup for organisers, which are not in ERC. Regulations can be seen in RRCR, no calendar yet. And I dont know if FIA si searching for a promotor of it...Quote:

Let´s see about Acores...Quote:

It will be one regional cup, all events together. I think events will have same coefficients like last year, ex-ERC rounds with coeff. 20.Quote:

I have the draft and maybe final calendar and there are 19 events.
It's formed from:
4 - coef. 20 rallies
6 - coef. 10
5 - coef. 5
4 - coef. 2 rallies.
Best 12 results counts.
Best 4 results from coefficient 10 rallies.
A crew can take points only from 3 rallies per country.
Only overall trophy. No other trophies.
Here are the regs: http://www.fia.com/sites/default/fil...s_071212_0.pdf

My opinion is that "CUP" is not well-made at all. It has only overall trophy. Plenty of rounds. No glory.
It was my mistake, I thought they search, but they meant ME, Asia, African, America Championships ...Quote:

My list is from 5th of December.
Yours is probably more current.
It's understandable Bosphorus to be again coef. 20 after it was dropped out of ERC.
Should be in the list. I agree with you.
So the rallies in this CUP will be 20 and take the points from the best 12 ?
Anyway my opinion is that this cup is unfortunately nothing serious.
Just saw this tweet:
How final is current European Rally Championship calendar? Loud rumours claiming Croatia to move to September, but what about Poland? #ERC
Both in september...Quote:

This is interesting. Why they moved them?Quote:

I think it is too early to answer this questions...Quote:

Still the same song for last month. Ford or Citroen?Quote:

Nothing is sure yet. And it is still the same situation. Only some medias "found" some old info, change something and put it as a news... And both teams (Citroen and Ford) are confirming actual negotiations and Robert told, that he wants to be sure before end of the year.Quote:

If he will not become champion in 2013 as well then there is a question - how long he bothers? Great statistics are indicating to the fact that he will not become World Champion in 2013 ;-)
Can't wait! :bounce:

- Sad to see "Circuit of Ireland" on the video.
- I still can't get used to that "serious competition ahead".
What do they have to say? "yet an other crap serie" ? It's a commercial, they should attract fans...Quote:

By the way was it mentioned here that Antonín Tlusťák and Jaroslav Orsák registered for ERC team competition? Tlusťák will drive usual Fabia S2000, Orsák Evo IX.
No, it wasn't. But I already knew that. Thanks anyway! :)Quote:

I find the video quite cool! Well done!
Only two remarks from my side?
- the connection to rally history at the beginning of the clip is a very good idea, but why did they stop in 1985? They should have shown at least one WRC car, they also belong to history
- the logo still sucks :)
Will Orsak drive most of the events like Antonin then?Quote:

I would say that it's far from being decided. If he screws first few he might stop and continue only in CZ or vice versa. I don't think that the program is fixed.
