Video is from shakedown, which was in the morning. It was little bit cold and slippery, especially in first runs. But rally started at 14:00.
Robert Kubica is present in Switzerland, but only as a spectator:

Tsjoen lost more than 40s on SS6.

You can't deny his love for rallying, if he doesn't drive he's spectating same thing a San Remo! :DQuote:

Just got sms from Pluto who is on SS10. Reuche broke wheel but tries to continue.

Just saw PLuto here live: Rallye du Valais - Live streaming :D

Offtopic: Kubica saying for november, Italian Rally and one in France (Var) not confirmed yet..
what´s happening? did it start to rain/snow or something like that? if it continues like that tsjoen is going to win :D
Yes, Pluto wrote to me that it's now rain in lower parts of stages, snow, mud and fog in the upper. Moreover many parts of todays stages are on gravel surface! Drivers use various combination of D10 and wet tyres.
SS12 interrupted
...and hasn't SS13 started yet
SS13 started, Tlusťák puncture already close after start according to sms from PLuto.
He told that Tsjoen probably used different winter tyres than D10 Michelin, didn't know which ones.
Where is it?Quote:

Carron has lost too much(more than 4' gap)though... :(
Tsjoen could pass 4th overall after SS13 ;)
SS16 is canceled for non-driveable conditions.
What about SS15
Looking at the startlist and spread of nationalities ERC is in big need of a makeover!
It is last event and since everything was pretty much decided most of the regulars just skipped the round...
True Mirek, but looking at the standings it does not tell us about a blossoming championship in Europe, that should be the natural springboard for talent before moving to The World Championship.
ERC - European Rally Championship 2012
You are right but that's nothing new. The ERC has been virtually dead for many years... Anyway in next years it's going to be completely different :)
I dont know if there was in the history of rallysport any championship which was "natural springboard for talent before WRC". It was only two or three years of JWRC, nothing more. Rally is different sport than others and there are is not so many step-by-step drivers, everybody is thinking only about going directly to WRC. I hope that this will change with new ERC...Quote:

Today it was really difficult. Raining since early morning, in highest passages started to snow. Drivers were using mixture of media tyres, rain tyres and snow tyres. Only Tsjoen had full snow tyres (not usual D10), which really helped him, especially on SS 12. He continued on winter tyres, but other stages were in lower attitude so more wet and gravel than snow. SS 16 (again on ski alpine track in Verbier) was canceled (like SS 12 for second half of the field) because lot of snow - cars were not able to go through (especially 2WD). Now in the evening is situation much more colder, snowing also in Martigny, tomorrow expected weather below zero also during day. Big step from +28 on Thursday and +3 today...
Onboard with Tsjoen

They should be happy, that rally finished on Saturday. Because on Sunday there was big snow calamity in Valais region, also highways down in the valley had problems with passability...

Why only 7 drivers got points in the final standings of ERC? Was there a rule that said that drivers should drive at least 4 events?

Yes, they forgot to cancel it...
Cancel what?
Probably the rule ...
Yes, the rule...
